that primarily folks who hate Trump or Dems were aligned with mask wearing and doom and gloom.

The only rational reason for that bizarre freak of odds is that they felt the worse the perception of covid, the worse for trump.

Just another in a long, long, every longer list of issues they could have had a winning political issue on and overplayed, misplayed their hands.

It's comical, really.
