All the way from what the laws are, to protections that cops are given, to how they work with the public.

A move towards private police would likely solve a lot of those problems as the accountability would change.

To me, it is a system issue more than anything.

I know that does not answer your question very well, but the mission of cops is just bad right now...they spend more time enforcing laws of the state versus actually protecting rights.

I thought Pickle posted a very good article a week or two ago and the issues with traffic stops and what that leads to.
