positive event as long as one booster promises to 'make it all up'?

Seriously?

What about all the boosters that won't even approach now because the football team has become a political platform?

At the end of all this the winning programs either:

1. Do not use the football program for politics.

OR

2. Allow opposing groups to use the football team for politics as well.

The professional leagues are about to learn the same thing in these coming years.

Don't attack your customers with issues outside the product you are delivering.
