Tucker Carlson - Critical Race Theory

Watched Tucker Carlson tonight. One segment dealt with an intellectual discipline (not certain that's the proper description) called "Critical Race Thinking". I was not familiar with the thory.
It apparently is an intellectual approach to race and the differences in our society that flow from the fact that we have a multiracial society.
It originated among some faculty members at Harvard Law School in the 1908's and has become widespread in certain circles. It apparently relies on story telling and individual experiences to determine whether a law or policy is discriminatory rather than logical analysis.
(That may be a gross simplification. Admittedly, I have not studied the theory and am not familiar with it.)
Carlson's guest suggested that it is found in the legal system, corporate human relations departments, education and the federal government. And that it is serving as the intellectual justification for many policy choices.
It apparently is the intellectual framework that being used by many leaders and members of the various groups fomenting the demonstrations, riots, looting and violence that has taken and is taking place in this country to justify their actions.
It would seem to me that if one is concerned about the future of the country, one needs to become familiar "Critical Race Theory" very quickly. I have a feeling the country is going to have to confront and deal with it and the actions of individuals who see as a justification for their actions for the foreseeable future.
