Mizzou also played a way easier schedule during that time.

Get to the tournament needs to be the goal right now. Do that a couple of years and hopefully start recruiting/developing at a higher level. Then have a team that can compete for the SEC title. If Mizzou can’t get there then it will be time to move to a new coach.
