But, if it was in fact true that he told the cops he was going to his car to get his gun and then he did that and cops shot him it would NOT change my opinion. He casually walked around his car and cops casually followed him. If he announced what he was doing, there should have been more sense of urgency to deal with him. Now, if that's not the case then sure, that could change my opinion.

Based on everything being reported now, the likelihood of the cops being justified in shooting a man 7 times in his back is extremely slim.
