The concern is about hospitals becoming overcrowded, understaffed and care to the non CV compromised.
So far, outside of NY,Fla, and Houston,most hospitals are holding up. If this were to change and you saw hospitals in less dense areas with no ICU beds to accomodate, the landscape will have changed.
The idea has always been to flatten the curve and make the handling of new admissions handable.
There's a lot of sensational/scary coverage of the very small % of hosiptals in crisis. No one wants to see this occur, but it's a nonoccurence outside of highly dense areas.
