- over 0.5% of people in jackson county tested positive for covid-19
- there were 519 fewer cases and 9 fewer deaths than the week before
- 80% of ventilators were idle and available for use
- 21% of total hospital beds were available
- 40% of ICU beds were available
- nearly 140,000 tests have been administered since March 1st and are now being conducted at nearly 2,000/day
- positivity rate for the region remains well under the target 10%, as it has consistently since April, and currently sits at 2.4%

as you can plainly see, there is no choice but to shut more things down and suppress normal movements and communications and commerce for as long as this thing takes, which our models indicate will be on or around exactly november 3rd.
