good qualities that outweigh the one's they are protesting. So I take it to mean that you still find redeeming value in some sports, even despite the things you find wrong with it. Your form of protest is just hear on a message board instead of out on the streets.

Agreed about the flag and national anthem. And I don't need either to tell me how patriotic I am or am not. In fact, I'd be just fine if they stopped playing the national anthem all together at games. Again, it doesn't define one's patriotism.

Although I do believe that patriotism has often been politicized. By both sides. Each claiming they are a better version of an American.
