troops sent to southern States to force school desegregation in the 50's were unconstitutional? The locals obviously did not want them there or request their help.
What if states simply choose to blatantly ignore voting rights laws and refused to allow certain people to vote. Could the feds step in or would they have to wait for an invitation?
What is the point of federal laws if local jurisdictions can simply choose not to enforce them? There are 56 FBI field offices in the US, does Nap want us to believe each of those was requested by locals?
