A lot of you remind me so much of LSU fans in the 90's.

From 1989-1994 LSU football had six straight losing seasons. Prior to that LSU never had back-to-back losing seasons in their proud history. Like LSU fans, all of you are expectant of better seasons. The vast majority of you are very knowledgeable of football, support your Mizzou program come hell or high water, have a sense of humor albeit at times tempered with gallows humor. To a person seem to enjoy college football.
I find many a kindred spirit here although I am a LSU fan which is why I enjoy coming here.
In the 90's LSU fans would all ask which team is going to show up? The good one which we all know can play well or that other team that plays like crap, at which we would all blame the coaches because our team couldn't be that bad, not really.
There is an old expression, if you live by the Mississippi River, sooner or later the bodies of your enemies float by. This holds true for football.
Your time in the sun with a competitive, consistent winning football program is at hand. All the little things your head coach is doing, I have seen before with the resurgence of LSU football which is why I smile with ya'll. Hope springs eternal. I see good things coming for Mizzou football.
Who knows in this crazy season if they play, the Power 5 conferences may coordinate together with ESPN where you have 1-2 out-of-conference games, the football gods may smile upon you and place ku on your schedule.
