to the impact only SEC play will have on their NCAA seeding prospects. Those are definitely hurt by conference only play, because there are only 2 sure fire top 25 teams in the conference for Mizzou to play.
If this were softball or women’s basketball I would not be as concerned about only playing conference games. But SEC VB is so relatively weaker top to bottom than other top conferences, running through the SEC isn’t going to mean as much to the selection committee.
