deaths per day in late April, despite a small increase back up to 1,001 as of yesterday.

Some states were hit harder than others early on. Those have trended downward, likely due to some level of herd immunity being built up.

States that had low infection rates early on are more susceptible now. Those are the ones having a bit of a surge now.

But that will undoubtedly work to the advantage of all of us as we head into the flu & respiratory illness season this fall.

The higher the herd immunity the slower will be the spread rate going forward, especially during the peak season.

We were told to flatten the curve. So far no state is exceeding it's medical system's capacity to deal with it. That makes it all the more likely that we will never exceed it due to the SARS CoV-2 virus Fauci helped to develop.
