even developed in animals (a general good place to look first), and it only reduced the symptoms, it does not eliminate them.

And there have been numerous economically important coronaviruses that would have given these companies incentive to produce them.

And if there is truth on how long the protection lasts, that is not good news (although I would argue that the protection news is not well known, but a way to help keep the story out there)
