Police are usually sent on medical calls. I was always there way before MedAct or any other ambulance, grabbing vitals, patient contact info, etc and making sure they weren't coding.
Dude went down with a heart attack on a trail in one of our parks. Our officers were there probably 10-15 minutes before EMS and began CPR. So I guess they could have held off for social workers?
