I was getting gas and someone from the other side getting gas says "We should have been the national champions not LSU. (My license plate that I am very proud of says LSUFAN) which is what he was looking at. I say what team are you talking about? He says "ku". I wasn't familiar with the term "ku". I say what was your best win? He says their 3 point win against Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl. I know who his team is now. My reply was "Really? LSU beat Virginia Tech by 41 points". He shut up.

I will say this about that wacky year, Missouri got screwed over. Should have been ya'll in the Orange Bowl.
