Releasing partial, unproven information to the public will be seen as political.

NOT releasing that information will be seen as a cover up.

I don't know much about durham. I've heard he is a good and honest man.

But iirc, comey was the salt of the earth. A republican for god's sake. A man of unimpeachable integrity and honor. A dedicated career public servant respected on both sides of the aisle.

I'm thinking that anyone respected on both sides of the aisle is respected for his political savvy and ability to obfuscate and deceive. Not for his integrity.
