And the mask ordinance was passed last night, effective on Friday.

New positive cases per week have gone from 30 to 50 to 77 to 126 in the last 4 weeks. This week there are 137 new cases with 2 days still to go. Today (Wednesday) there were 50 new positive cases, breaking the previous daily record of 39 last Thursday.

There is a serious problem going on in Boone county that is going to impact fall sports here, and anyone who doesn’t understand that does not know math or science.

And the students aren’t even back yet.
