there isn't much of a trend in that regard one way or the other. The fact that so many more cases are being found and that deaths are not following commensurately is the best COVID news in months. Yet, people want to spin it to prolong the doomsday projections. Why?
Also, read my subsequent post in this thread, where I note that I should have said ICUs instead of hospitalizations. ICUs, even in "hotspots", are at or near their normal capacities.
The pandemic is over. It's okay to accept good news.
