I'm not sure if you are serious, but the mortality rate of flu is 0.1%

It is my understanding that the mortality rate of the coronavirus is b/t 0.7 to 0.4% (not 2%)...but still 4 to 7 times more deadly than the flu.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
