You can recognize that other events going on in the world outweigh the importance of playing a football game AND be gutted that your favorite past-time won't happen.

Stop thinking this is caused by "people just don't want me to have any fun".

I live 400 miles from Columbia and still went to every single Mizzou game (home and away) last season and do most other years as well. Mizzou football is one of my biggest passions. I still am smart enough to take a look around and see that forcing a football season would be disastrous to the public health.
