The methodology is there for us to change to any form of government that we may choose. We could scrap our republic and go to Chinese communism, the system is there to do so.
Just like in every society across the globe our rights are what we determine them to be. That was the whole point of the Constitution, more specifically the Bill of Rights, it outlined the rights of the people that our government would work to ensure. At the state level, in all fifty states, that does include the right to an education.
You all may disagree with the system but that does not change the fact that it is the system we currently operate under. Again if you don't like it then work to change it.
