But it has to be an actual logical proof not an appeal to authority, not an assumed premise but an actual proof that can withstand challenge.
Natural rights are, in fact, the only rights discussed on this board that come from logical proofs.
On the other hand, "look at the Constitution" is a textbook appeal to authority.
