I often post links to news stories on here, to my knowledge this is the only one you have challenged as not belonging on this site.

so basically you DO in fact think Prime Mortgage's statement was false

You are again jumping to conclusions. I don't think that there's enough information at this time to know for sure one way or another, but I think there's a good chance that they are trying to cya here. Even if they are, however, that doesn't mean that they have stated anything false. They could be leaving out information that would give a fuller picture of the situation.

Perhaps we will find out as this story plays out, eh?
