The selection committee has changed over the last about 3 years. Playing quality OOC games are a must now.

Here’s an example from Cuonzo’s first season.
Mizzou went 20-12 10-8 in the SEC
Mississippi State went 22-11 and 9-9 in the SEC

Mizzou got in the tournament and State didn’t because of the non con strength.
