You make ideological statements, but you do not tell the entire story.
It is not "theft" to collect reasonable dues from each member of the group to provide a group benefit.
You enjoy driving on city streets, receiving electricity from the electric company, clean water piped into your home and sewage piped out. You enjoy trash service, police protection , and Fire/Ambulance coverage. Somebody probably comes by your house to pick up brush a few times a year. Are these things supposed to be free? Who do you think should pay for them if taxation is theft?
Would you feel better if everything was a la carte, and you could just pay a few bucks before you drove on a city street?
