but you don't even have to get a ticket. i've been pulled over 40+ times in my life, been ticketed 3 times. majority of the times, they are trying to escalate situation: ask where you're going, ask to search vehicle and if you don't let them say you're hiding something, ask you the same question hoping you lose your cool, don't identify why they pulled you over until the stop is almost over and they make something up etc.

all the while looking in your backseat, asking "you sure you don't have drugs on you, because i can bring the Canine Unit out here" etc... and talking to you like you're a serial killer
