before i moved to the burbs, i thought everyone just had saved money. then i got to know my neighbors.

every single one of them had help from their parent or in-laws. like i said, the men would never admit it. always the wives would let it slip. shows they think they really didn't have any help and "pulled themselves up by their own bootstraps".

guess what? if you're black, not gonna get help from your parents. because blacks weren't able to accumulate wealth. and if you didn't get the GI Bill, 2 of your kids wouldn't have a house..
