constantly that the unemployment figures didn't include longtime discouraged workers and were, thereby, deceptively lower than the true unemployment rate.

Then Trump gets elected, and many of the people/posters that pointed that out started to brag about how low the unemployment figure was (without mentioning longtime discouraged workers).
