sign of burglary. That's why I said let's let that one sit, meaning sit on our minds.

The story of going there for a drink of water is not believable.

To me, what is believable is that all his actions are of someone probing a potential target before striking, seeing if anyone is home, searching for patterns, entry and exits points, best time to enter home etc.

I think his intentions are obviously felonious.
