"look the other way" while he did what needed to be done to run a P5 program, he could have been very successful here. but i think alden was under the flawed impression that a clean basketball program was possible, and he got ****ed when he learned that haith wasn't quite as clean as he had once thought.

i firmly believe alden's naivete followed by his childish and short-sighted response to learning how the real world works is what kept haith from long term success here.
