to do whatever it took and expected and demanded the same from his teammates and he didn't care who he pizzed off making it happen. He took everything as a personal challenge and had more determination to come out on top than possibly anyone ever in pro sports. The only person you might say was similar in that aspect was Tiger. But Tiger only had to make himself better that everyone. MJ had to get it out of his teammates as well.
And with MJ it really didn't matter if was basketball or cards or quarters and anything he participated in. He would never settle for 2nd place and he still has that chip on his shoulder today. We all have that friend who always has to one up everyone. I imagine MJ to be 100 times as annoying as that guy. It would have to be hard to be friends with him.
