Your words, "It might do you, and others on here, some good to actually put yourself in the shoes of people who are nothing like you, but still have just as much to lose."

In other words, rights are not the standard. It is feelings of you and of others that determine next steps. No, that is purely subjective and means rights are not rights at all. They are privileges extended when others feel they should be. And that is very, very dangerous. You continue making my very point without even knowing it.
