I was HEAVY HEAVY ripped on when I bashed on ODUMB over and over again about recruiting.. I said it like 500 times Missouri will NEVER win without recruiting Missouri first.
Pinkel understood this his number one was priority was Missouri which included Southern Illinois. I said it 500 times the kids and coaches from the local area had no faith in Odumb and it showed. Over and over and over again he was out-recruited in Missouri by schools like Western Michigan, Illinois just sad! He couldn't pick up anyone from Pinkel's old stomping ground East St Louis now look what is going on.
Someone who actually knows how to run a football program has made their priority THIS VERY STATE and Southern Illinois.
I don't want to jinx anything but Drink is on a ROLL he's light years ahead of Odumb and over the next 2 or 3 years he's going to land the #1 the #2 in our state. He's going to land the best players again from Southern Illinois and Illinois isn't ever again never again going to out recruit Missouri in Missouri. Thank you God!

Once the state is cleaned up then and ONLY THEN are you allowed to venture out into Texas, Florida, and other states where you're the 5th option. In Missouri you always have the option to be first choice and Drink is taking advantage of that.
