Coach Anderson did talk about having a short reliever

When she was describing how she would handle her pitchers, she said in general that a pitcher with one good pitch would be a short reliever, if two good pitches, a middle reliever, and if three pitches, a starter. So that makes me think she may continue to use a closer, which seems like a good idea with the number of pitchers she'll have next year.

I haven't seen anyone mention this about Eli Daniel, but if they had little scholarship money to give her, she'd be looking at up to $20,000 for tuition and room and board to go to school for another year, minus maybe a few thousand in partial scholarship money. Unless she really wanted to work on a masters, that's a pretty big financial pill to swallow. Especially with the whole coronavirus thing still being on campus next fall.
