I think you could surely argue that she was the best "closer" in college softball. Thanks to Eli for being a great Tiger and good luck to her in whatever she chooses to do.
One of the highlights of our shortened 2020 season for me was the South Alabama game where we came back late to take the lead and Eli came in for the save in the 7th inning. SHE STRUCK OUT THE SIDE ON TEN PITCHES! I don't think I've ever seen that before. Those South Alabama batters had no chance.
