Think back to some of the video we got to see from the few days of spring practice that did take place. Drink was repeatedly screaming at guys to run from drill to drill, and to run on and off the field. The team was apparently quite used to walking.

Some people might think that is a very minor thing. Some people might suggest that is similar to Kim Anderson telling the guys they couldn’t wear a hat.

But it is just one piece of the attitude and culture that coaches who win at the highest level instill.

Does this mean that Drink is going to be great? No, but it is one piece of the puzzle that is being handled in a fashion better than it appears to have been handled before.

And it is a little bit of a sign of being a hard ass
