It's all about keeping up enrollment numbers

The administration knows it may have to keep classes online or have at least part of the semester online, but they fear losing enrollment from both new and returning students if students don' think they can come to campus. The University has taken a big financial hit already and fears it will get worse, so they are just trying to project a sense of normalcy to keep students (and faculty and staff) engaged.
