disagree on where our target location should be.

I lean very heavily towards liberty but I would find pure liberty to be just as harmful as tyranny.

Pure liberty would be every man for himself. Basically anarchy and hedonism .But that would be preferable to pure tyranny.

I think the sweet spot would be about 75-80% liberty. Building roads, providing public safety, schools, national defense do require that we give up some of our liberty. But it is not and all or nothing thing. Your use of the word continuum was a good choice IMO. Some of us just differ on where the ideal location on this continuum is found.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
