Scientists were telling us with great assurance how many deaths, how many hospital beds and what the impact of this would be. Just as scientists are telling us what man made global warming is going to do to our planet. If you look at the predictions 20 years ago of where we would be today from global warming, the predictions are even more off than the projections of COVID-19.

As we move forward it may be instructive to keep all of this in mind. Science is helpful. Science is important. Science is at times a best guess, regardless of the confidence with which the best guess is provided.
