If the disease is fairly infective and there is no vaccine....how does like 60-80% of the population NOT get it eventually?

Have Fauci, Birx, or any of them given any indication of what they think the infectivity was prior? I have not seen.

I see one of two scenarios

1. The spread occurred much earlier..and either the infection rate is much lower or the morbidity/mortality is much lower

2. We still have had somewhat limited spread, and there is much more to come as people travel around again

3. I just don't see a flatten the curve scenario that is being suggested, unless this just can't survive the summer (and there have bene outbreaks in FL and TX which seen to go against that theory).
