The deal is this...

We can hunker down like crazy for 2 more months and return to normal with a 5% risk factor.

Or we can hunker down for 1 more month and return to normal with an 8% risk factor.

Numbers are made up for example purposes only.


There is more and more evidence all the time that the number of infections is hundreds if not thousands of times greater than being published and that the virus has been here much longer than the guy in Seattle.

If this is true, which is really is but we can't quantify it, then the death rate is infintesimal compared to what is being published right now and this virus should not be treated as anything special.
