the Western world. The debt, entitlement, sensitivity, wokeness, deference to central govt have all gotten worse.

For example, Barack Obama was against gay marriage when he ran for President. Today, people lose their jobs and reputations for taking that position.

This is barely 10 years later. The culture has drastically changed.
