marginally effective and then say ‘see you next year if this one doesn’t kill you’. Once in a while a school will shut down if a critical mass of kids are infected.
How is that in any way comparable to Kansas ending school for half a million kids without a single student or staff member being infected?
Is it really that hard for you to see why so many are pointing to auto deaths? Auto accidents are the largest totally preventable cause of death to Americans. Ban all motor vehicles and the number drops to zero overnight. I have heard multiple politicians say the line ‘If these measures save just one life then they are worth it.’ That is utter bullshlt. We could save almost 40k lives every year but do nothing because we know it will destroy our economy. Other than ‘because everyone else is doing it’ can you tell me why we are doing this and the ultimate costs and benefits?
