Tens of thousands of Americans die every year from traffic accidents and the flu. We do nothing and accept those losses. Why are we so willing to destroy our economy for something that may be an order of magnitude worse.

Why is your side so defensive about this question?

If you care to check you will find that i was asking this over a week ago when the herd mentality first started. It was a valid question then and it is more so now.
