they are designed to make the products less desirable by consumers due to the higher cost,

The PRESIDENT has stated many, many times, that he has 'brought in billions" from China. It is a flat out lie. The billions are paid by Americans. They are taxes on Americans. As this is a politics board, it might be appropriated to bring up the fact that the man in the White House offers Tariffs, bans, walls and tax cuts for the elite. Not much going there.
