Trump has proposed a permanent elimination of payroll taxes. That is a dumb partisan idea that does nothing to address the situation...and has its own negative downstream issues (although I would very much be for the gradual elimination or massive rollback of SS).

And there is nothing new with pork being added to bills like this.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
