Out of an abundance of caution. They know it spreads easily. They believe they know the incubation period. Why would you want to risk shaking hands with, or being close enough to an older or compromised person to whom this virus may indeed be quite serious?

No one is questioning those things. But that is not the basis of the hysteria causing people to buy out masks and bottled water and other items.

You are having a very, very bad morning.
