To say that Biden was politically dead is overstating it. The party's leaning on Amy and Pete did leave perceived middle to old Joe. I suspect Pocahontas will throw in the towel today. It is clearly over for her. Once that happens, her support will move to Bernie. If it remains close between Bernie and Biden and Biden wins, how will Biden reach out to the substantial socialist wing of the party? He will need them to remain loyal dems, if he hopes to compete with Trump in November.
