The very process in and of itself obliterates the separation of powers, hence, it's not constitutional.
Congress can't just say we don't like you, we are removing you.
Just as the President can't say to Congress, I don't like you, I am removing you.
Just as a court can't say, I don't like you, I am removing you.
You know the reason why The Senate has never removed and never will remove a President?
Because the President would never be removed and it would expose that they have no impeachment powers. They can never risk that, so to the House and Senate, it's just more important to appear to have the power in order to hold it over the Executive Office.
Meanwhile, all three times they've done it, it backfired completely.
Nobody is more full of **** than congress.
I hope the next President "impeached" holds a news conference and "impeaches" the speaker of the house and Senate leaders and then announces he will discuss with his White House Attorneys whether or not those house and senate members will be removed from office.
It would cause a hilarious uproar over abuse of power and constitutionality... it would also be the greatest troll job on the most grotesque people in the U.S. (Congress)
